Mundesley Medical Centre officially have a winning team after receptionist Emma Blyth scoops the Customer Service and Retail award at the Poultec Training Achievers awards.
Shortlisted from a pool of more than 3,000 course students fellow colleague General Assistant Charlotte Hall, was also nominated for the Apprentice Progression award.
The annual Poultec Training Awards ceremony is hosted at the Poultec headquarters at South Green Park Mattishall. Nominees were nominated by tutors where learners had excelled in their learning or overcome barriers in order to achieve their qualification.
A spokesperson from Poultec said: “Emma is a dedicated, hardworking and diligent learner who tackles every task given with gusto. In her role Emma has demonstrated excellent customer service. Emma takes the utmost pride in the level of service she delivers to her patients, regularly going above and beyond to help people.”
Emma joined the practice in August 2015 after a variety of previous jobs. Charlotte joined the practice in in October 2015 as an apprentice following straight from full time education and has completed her studies whilst working at the practice.
Linda Marquis, Practice Manager at Mundesley Medical Centre added: “We’re really pleased for both Charlotte and Emma and they deserve to be recognised for all their hard work and achievements. All the team are delighted they have got this far and we will continue to support all our staff to increase their knowledge on their personal and professional journeys.”
Sally Ross-Benham, Head of Primary Care at North Norfolk and South Norfolk Clinical Commissioning Group said: “We want to extend our congratulations to Charlotte, Emma and all at Mundesley Medical Centre. This is proof of the fantastic non-medical career options available in health.”
Trophies, made by Poultec students, were presented to each of the winners and each nominee received a certificate.
