The Constitution provides that elected members are eligible for reappointment for a second term but may not serve more than two terms.
The documents (below) contain full details of the role and election process. There are 4 posts available.
Each eligible voter can have 4 votes (i.e. 1 for each vacancy).
The time commitment for Elected GP Governing Body Members is 4 sessions per week including all day on Tuesdays. The remuneration rate for each session is £300. Please note that the successful candidates will be put on to the CCG's payroll as an appointee (not an employee).
Note that the closing date for applications is 5pm on Tuesday 27th June 2017
A full timeline including election launch and close is set out under Frequently Asked Questions at p4.
